Katamari Forever Board Game
For the Katamari Forever Board Game, I thoroughly analyzed the original Katamari Forever video game, deconstructing its core mechanics and translating them into a board game format. My goal was to capture the unique rolling and collecting dynamics of the original game while adapting the experience to a tabletop setting. By redesigning key elements and introducing new strategic components, I created a faithful yet innovative version that brings the chaotic fun of Katamari to board game enthusiasts.
The New Generation
The New Generation is a TTRPG inspired by “The Mothership.” After the catastrophic “impact,” Earth’s creatures are facing extinction. The world is consumed by silence—no more bird songs, traces of wilderness, or fish splashing in the water. Humanity has been reduced by 80% compared to 2020, and only 5% of the planet’s species remain. In this shattered world, no children are born, nations have fallen, and hope seems to have vanished.
Amidst the desolation, an organization called the Door Knockers persists, determined to live and die with dignity. They wander through the ruins, ensuring that those who have passed away alone are given a respectful burial, while “inheriting” valuable items they find along the way. The Door Knockers endure, scavenging and surviving, trying to hold on to what remains of humanity in a world that’s rapidly disappearing.
